The Novofreeze Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new opportunities, building, and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving growth of a new product line. This position will play a crucial role in driving the company's success and achieving revenue targets and future growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to capture market share and achieve sales targets.
- Partner with technical organization to advance and establish prospects through a qualified sales process.
- In collaboration with the marketing organization, develop and co-create sales collateral materials for new product lines.
- Coordinate with technical team to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients to generate leads and close deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and understanding their needs.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Identify service gaps and engage Technical Advisors when accounts are in the development stages.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
- Track and report on sales performance and business development activities to management.
- Attend and lead trade shows pertinent to the assigned channel and markets.
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) IFS/Salesforce to capture meeting activity and sales opportunities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience selling development equipment/technical sales.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify market opportunities and drive business growth.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and knowledge of Customer Relations Management / ERP Systems.
- Must have excellent communication skills because of daily contact with managers and candidates.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and a reference check.
- Required to type, have eye/hand/foot coordination, sit, carry, occasionally stand, walk, and lift.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- This position works in a typical office; however, must travel back and forth through a manufacturing facility several times a day.
- Clarity of vision including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors.
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
