Summary:
The IFS ERP System Admin/Business Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the ERP system to ensure the system’s functionality and efficiency, partnering with business users to guide, support and drive effective changes. The position will engage with external IFS partners to coordinate work as needed and ensure that all deliverables meet business needs. This position is part of a dynamic group responsible for the ongoing support and advancement of the global IFS ERP system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with business departments and IT Director, to develop and improve business processes in IFS.
- Evaluate business processes, gather requirements, document findings, develop, test and implement solutions. Manage any third-party planning, development and deployment efforts.
- Design, develop and implement new features and customizations within the IFS ERP system.
- Create and manage IFS internal customizations: custom menus, fields, logical units, lobbies, events.
- Effectively manage customizations and configurations via IFS package management.
- Manage IFS User accounts, application security and profiles.
- Manage IFS issues to effective resolution.
- Provide IFS end user support for application usage and troubleshooting.
- Customize and configure modules and workflows in the IFS ERP system to meet business needs.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the IFS ERP system environment.
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Monitor IFS to proactively prevent/resolve system issues via System Monitoring, alerts, logs etc.
- Perform ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
- Stay updated with IFS ERP system enhancements, updates, and new modules to contribute to continuous improvement and optimization.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Education/Experience:
- Must possess a High School Diploma.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ application administration and management experience in IFS ERP or proven experience as an IFS ERP System Developer or similar role, preferably with IFS Applications 10.
- Proficiency in IFS Tools such as IFS Application Explorer, IFS Studio, and IFS Design Studio.
- Oracle experience required to support customization development.
- Familiar with IFS ERP system architecture, modules, and workflows.
- Experience with developing IFS reports in SSRS, Quick Reports, and operational reporting.
- Familiar with designing, building, testing, and troubleshooting system changes.
- All IFS functional knowledge areas are relevant for this position, however manufacturing, supply chain, inventory management, customer service, order management and quality are most commonly used by the business. Experience in these areas is preferred.
- Knowledge of SDLC is a plus.
- Experience with IFS Cloud and/or upgrading to IFS Cloud is a plus.
- Ability to perform multiple functions and juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, set priorities and meet deadlines on multiple projects.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Must have excellent communication skills due to daily engagement with a variety of departments and employees at all levels in the organization in the U.S. and internationally.
- Must be fluent in English (reading, comprehension, synthesizing), and possess excellent reading skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and a reference check.
Physical Demands:
- Required to sit, type, have eye/hand/foot coordination, occasionally stand, reach, grasp, lift, push, pull and carry.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- This position works in a typical office, manufacturing, and lab environment.
- Clarity of vision including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors.
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
