As of 10 / 01 / 2021, the MAPA career ladder has changed and is no longer a GS-7 / 9 / 11 / 12 / 13. Unit Description
In the Workforce Planning Unit (WPU), we like to say that we “create the FBI’s workforce of the future.” WPU is divided into three teams, Position Management, which is responsible for position creation and modification in HR Source; Position Classification, which ensures the FBI provides equal pay for fundamentally equal work, and the newly formed Strategic Recruitment Team (SRT), and Employer Marketing Team (EMT).
This MAPA would be joining our SRT team. The goal of SRT and EMT are to modernize the FBI’s recruitment efforts, ushering the organization into a new recruitment era, focusing on the needs of potential candidates. Through constant research and data analysis, we want to develop the tools and resources for our HQ and field recruiters to be better positioned to compete for emerging talent.
