Job Description:

We're looking for someone with an accounting background to join our Accounts Receivable department. This position will require basic accounting knowledge and intermediate spreadsheet proficiency.

The primary focus of the Accounts Receivable Specialist is to work with our B2B customers to ensure that their payments are made timely and that disputes are worked through on a routine basis. This position will reconcile customer accounts across all FBS locations in Texas as well as coordinate with local teams to resolve issues.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Call and email customers to build up the necessary relationships to make collections a smooth process
• Maintain and reconcile assigned customer accounts
• Provide invoices and statements when requested
• Follow up on past dues and minimize bad debt on assigned accounts
• Routinely apply credits (where applicable) and verify overpayments
• Make credit recommendations based on account records
• Work with local teams to resolve customer disputes
• Verify and process lien waivers
• Meet both team and individual collection goals as laid out by management

• Intermediate Excel Skills (Pivot Tables and VLookup)
• Additional Program Experience (SupplyPro, BisTrack)
• College Degree or Certification with Accounting Coursework
