Job Title: Healthcare Superintendent
Job Location: Rockledge, FL
Job Summary:
The Healthcare Superintendent will oversee the management of healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements. The role involves close coordination with subcontractors, medical and facilities staff, and other stakeholders in occupied healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review contract documents for constructability and code compliance.
- Coordinate with subcontractors on MEP systems, medical gases, and equipment installations.
- Manage construction activities in occupied healthcare facilities while ensuring minimal disruption to patients and staff.
- Implement and monitor ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) and ILSM (Interim Life Safety Measures) procedures.
- Oversee field operations to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors from project inception to closeout.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Ensure contractors’ work is compliant with project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure safety standards are met on-site.
- Enforce adherence to the safety plan.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Healthcare Superintendent.
- Expertise in ICRA/ILSM procedures.
- AHCA project experience and prior in-hospital project experience required.
- Demonstrated experience in managing healthcare renovation in occupied facilities.
- Strong understanding of patient safety and healthcare client needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a professional appearance.
- Minimum of OSHA 10 certification.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required.
- Strong organizational and cleanliness skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
