SUMMARY
This position includes a variety of clerical tasks under the general supervision of the Human Resources Management supervisors. It carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas : Payroll, Invoicing, Recruiting, Interviewing, Onboarding, and other administrative tasks such as filing and maintaining personnel files.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Five (3) years of responsible clerical experience.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Equivalent combinations of training and experience may be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Compile bi-weekly payroll invoices for the city.
Prepare job descriptions and post job openings on various platforms.
Assist with the onboarding process for new employees.
