Production Supervisor

FCA Packaging, a leader in innovative wood packaging solutions, seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee operations on the plant floor. This role demands a dynamic individual with hands-on manufacturing experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Motivate, develop, and direct production teams to meet quality and on-time delivery goals.
• Production Tasks:
• Manufacture wood pallets, crates, and boxes using nail guns, saws, drills, and other tools.
• Ensure all products meet blueprint specifications.
• Safety and Maintenance:
• Enforce safety protocols and personal protective equipment usage.
• Report equipment issues and assist with routine maintenance and preventive measures.
• Training and Oversight: Train team members in production processes and best practices.
• Forklift Operation: Drive forklifts to move materials and products as needed.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of scrap lumber properly.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 12–18 months in manufacturing, lumber, construction, or a related field.
• At least 12 months managing and motivating a team.
• Skills:
• Proficiency with nail guns, tape measures, and reading blueprints.
• Basic computer skills for timekeeping systems.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Viking machines.
