The Jeep Brand team is looking for a strong and passionate leader to help us build upon the successes and opportunities of the current and future Jeep Brand. The Jeep Brand Manager must be a motivated, self-starter with retail sales and marketing experience, (automotive preferred). Individuals in this position are responsible for delivering monthly retail sales and share objectives, while optimizing brand health and profitability. In this position, the individual must be able to think strategically, clearly communicate opportunities and implement plans. This individual must be able to lead cross-functional teams to coordinate nameplate specific activities such as pricing/incentives, volume/mix, target customer, positioning, and life-cycle actions.
The selected candidate must demonstrate the ability to use analytical data to identify market trends and competitive actions, to make recommendations and implement strategies that deliver positive sales and share results in a fast-paced environment. Team members are expected to establish effective working relationships, founded on trust and transparency, with our internal and external partners. Customer centric, sound judgment, excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to drive decisions through consensus and influence change are a must.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
5 years of experience in one or more of the following: Product Planning, Brand Management, Product/Marketing Strategy or Engineering roles demonstrating leadership and ability to work in a team orientated environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Ability to translate complex data into simple marketing insights
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at the same time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Highly creative with ability to think out of box
Enjoy working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Passion for the automotive market; automotive product knowledge
Able to lead multiple cross functional teams (who don't directly report)
Preferred Qualifications:
Completed or working towards an MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering/Engineering Management
Brand marketing experience
Automotive experience Field sales operations experience
Marketing and/or product commercial launch experience
