Join a forward-thinking automotive team focused on redefining the in-vehicle experience. We’re seeking a UX Design Researcher with a strong design background and a deep understanding of user-centered workflows. In this role, you’ll apply your design expertise to conduct research that directly informs iterative design and product decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure user insights drive impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Research for Agile Decisions: Conduct lean, iterative research (e.g., usability testing, rapid feedback, guerrilla research) to support sprint cycles
Bridge Design & Research: Leverage your design background to translate findings into practical, user-centered design recommendations
User-Centered Testing: Plan and run usability studies, A/B tests, and early concept evaluations to guide design direction
Collaboration & Influence: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate user insights into product development
Mixed-Methods Research: Use both qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, analytics) to validate design decisions
Advocate for the User: Synthesize insights into compelling narratives that drive user-focused strategies
Design-Embedded Thinking: Collaborate on iterative design and prototyping to refine and test hypotheses
Design Support: Quickly sketch, prototype, or refine designs for testing and validation
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, UX Research, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
3 years of experience in UX design or research, preferably within the automotive industry
Proficiency with user research tools (e.g., UserTesting.com, Qualtrics) and design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
Solid understanding of UX research methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience conducting usability tests, heuristic evaluations, and concept validation
Ability to translate research insights into actionable design improvements within fast-paced development cycles
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
