Material Sorting
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and sort materials from incoming customers with recycled metals.
- Separate metals from other materials ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Use hand tools or equipment to facilitate efficient movement or materials.
- Report any issues or deviations to supervisors.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Work closely with other team members, including machine operators and supervisors, to achieve daily production goals.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and address any challenges.
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience with Metal type classes Preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work on your feet for prolonged time.
