We are currently seeking an Underwriting Advisor & QA Coordinator to join our Corporate Underwriting Team.

The Selected Candidate Will

• Coordinate and administer the underwriting quality assurance program including preparing underwriting audits, scheduling kick-off and wrap-up meetings, drafting reports and following-up on action plans.
• Partner with Corporate Insurance specialists and consultants with assigned line(s) of business or industry segment(s) including monitoring profitability and recommending opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in developing underwriting guidelines, risk selection grades and authority levels to support underwriting profitability.
• Assist in managing underwriting vendors including contract & invoice review.
• Assist Corporate Underwriting teammates with projects and research as requested.
  
  
  

This position will be located in our Sarasota, FL corporate office with a hybrid schedule (2 days remote/3 days in office).

The salary range for this position is $68,664-$105,739 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Bachelors or better

Experience

Required

• Minimum of three years of commercial insurance industry experience.
• Primary knowledge of commercial insurance and risk control principles.
• Primary knowledge of underwriting processes, coverages, tools and company products and services.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Advanced ability to analyze, define and solve problems, the use of good judgment and decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Past experience with QA, QA implementation, or QC management experience.
• Past experience with leading and managing a key organizational initiative.
• Past experience with vendors, vendor payments, and handling of related expenses
• CPCU, CIC or other advanced designation/degree
