We are currently seeking an Underwriting Advisor & QA Coordinator to join our Corporate Underwriting Team.
The Selected Candidate Will
- Coordinate and administer the underwriting quality assurance program including preparing underwriting audits, scheduling kick-off and wrap-up meetings, drafting reports and following-up on action plans.
- Partner with Corporate Insurance specialists and consultants with assigned line(s) of business or industry segment(s) including monitoring profitability and recommending opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in developing underwriting guidelines, risk selection grades and authority levels to support underwriting profitability.
- Assist in managing underwriting vendors including contract & invoice review.
- Assist Corporate Underwriting teammates with projects and research as requested.

- Minimum of three years of commercial insurance industry experience.
- Primary knowledge of commercial insurance and risk control principles.
- Primary knowledge of underwriting processes, coverages, tools and company products and services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Advanced ability to analyze, define and solve problems, the use of good judgment and decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Past experience with QA, QA implementation, or QC management experience.
- Past experience with leading and managing a key organizational initiative.
- Past experience with vendors, vendor payments, and handling of related expenses
- CPCU, CIC or other advanced designation/degree
Salary : $68,664 - $105,739
