Overview
We are a local construction company seeking a part-time Office Administrator/Accountant to join our team. This Individual will be required to work 3 days a week with some flexibility, no nights or weekends. The candidate will be required to have an accounting background, be proficient in QuickBooks and be able to prepare monthly inhouse financial statements. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks. This position requires strong skills in office management, vendor management, and team coordination, making it essential for maintaining an efficient work environment.
Duties
- Monthly Invoicing
- Client Pay Request Applications
- A/R and A/P
- Communication with our 401-K administrator, and Insurance agent.
- Prepare weekly payroll
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure a productive work environment.
- Manage office budgets and assist in financial planning.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for easy access to documents.
- Manage calendars for team members, scheduling meetings and appointments as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management, administrative roles and accounting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management is preferred.
- Familiarity with vendor management processes.
- Excellent calendar management skills, with attention to detail in scheduling.
- Strong team management abilities, fostering collaboration among staff members.
- Proficient in using office software and technology to enhance productivity.
