Position Summary
The Operations Specialist 1 plays a key role in supporting FCN Bank’s operations team by assisting with Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements, processing wire transfers, balancing Certificates of Deposit (CDs), and performing various day-to-day operational tasks. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding FCN Bank’s dedication to excellence and community service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with CIP requirements by verifying and obtaining necessary identification for new accounts; scan and maintain documentation in the system as needed.
- Process domestic and international wire transfers in accordance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies.
- Provide backup support for CD and IRA balancing, including preparing required reports.
- Assist the BSA Officer with various tasks to support the bank’s compliance and anti-money laundering efforts.
- Support Deposit Operations functions as assigned, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.
Skills & Abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, reflecting our belief in the value of education and lifelong learning.
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, demonstrating your commitment to serving our customers with excellence.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including the Jack Henry System, Microsoft Word, and Outlook, showcasing your adaptability and technological proficiency.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, reflecting our commitment to effective communication and proactive problem-solving.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, reflecting our dedication to efficiency and productivity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Outlook, demonstrating your commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, reflecting our commitment to excellence and reliability.
