Lead Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Maintenance professional to lead their team, oversee maintenance operations and ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, as well as effective communication with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, plumbing, painting, sheetrock work.
• Troubleshoot and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize technical knowledge to analyze equipment performance and implement improvements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with maintenance services.
• Assist in technical sales efforts by providing insights on equipment capabilities and maintenance solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.
• Make maintenance orders as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a lead maintenance role or similar position.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial settings.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Ability to use tools such as ammeters for diagnosing electrical issues.
• Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting complex problems effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Technical sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to take initiative and lead your team.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
