FDR Engineers, PLLC, a national full-service structural engineering firm, is seeking talented, ambitious, BIM Designers to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing practical and efficient solutions to complex project challenges, while maintaining the highest possible levels of client satisfaction, and are seeking driven individuals to share in our growth within the industry.
This position will involve the detailed Architectural drafting and modeling of various commercial projects, with an emphasis on Architectural cladding and veneers, as well as the primary framing layouts necessary to produce panelized wall assemblies.
Success within this position requires the following skills and abilities:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret construction documents.
· A high level of proficiency with AutoCAD/ REVIT based drafting and BIM standards.
· General knowledge of basic construction methods and techniques.
· The ability to effectively work and collaborate with team members and project managers to develop effective solutions to complex design challenges.
· The ability to apply effective time-management and organizational skills and techniques to manage project tasks and commitments across multiple projects.
· An eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt to new design standards and challenges as our industry evolves.
Education and experience requirements:
· Associates degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Technology is preferred, but not required based on relevant work experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
