FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Director for a large utility contractor near Denver, CO. This role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of safety policies as well as the development of best-in-industry safety practices.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in health and safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field required.
- At least 15 years of occupational health and safety experience in the electrical power/utilities industry is required.
- Expertise and leadership experience in Transmission & Distribution / Utilities industry.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
- (OSHA) standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct training.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proven expertise in team development and mentorship capabilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
