What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Safety Representative position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a 1-3 month project for a manufacturing client near Chambersburg, PA. This position is expected to operate on a Monday-Friday 40-50 hour/week Day Shift schedule with the potential for additional overtime. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.

- Responsible for all facets of safety, health, and environmental performance.
- Interface directly with regulatory agencies.
- Ensure the plant complies with all applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, and corporate policies.
- Manage all regulatory reporting requirements and permitting processes.
- Support all safety and environmental incident investigation processes, including reviewing investigations and corrective actions.
- Identify common safety/health/environmental hazards.
- Audit programs for compliance.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s (4 yr.) or Advanced Technical Degree in H&S Management, Engineering, or health and safety specialty area (i.e. Industrial Hygiene).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a lead safety professional within the manufacturing industry.
- OSHA 30 in General Industry
