What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Safety Representative position at FDRsafety, LLC?
FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a 6-month construction project in Waco, TX. This position is expected to operate on a Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm and Saturdays 8 hours dayshift Schedule with the potential for overtime (candidates must also be flexible with an occasional nightshift schedule). This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification required.
- Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.
- Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.
- Candidates should have 5 years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.
- Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.
- Experience with developing and facilitating safety training.
- Experience managing safety on large, complex projects.
- Experience with confined space and aerial lifts.
