We are seeking an experienced Banquet Chef to oversee the culinary operations for banquets and large events in our upscale establishments.

This position requires a leader who can design and implement innovative menus tailored to the specific needs and preferences of clients, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent culinary skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Culinary Leadership: Manage and coordinate all activities in the banquet kitchen, including staff scheduling, inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
2. Menu Planning: Design and implement seasonal menus showcasing the finest ingredients and culinary techniques.
3. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure all team members perform at their best.
4. Event Coordination: Collaborate closely with event planners, catering managers, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of banquets and events.
5. Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control standards throughout the food preparation process, conducting regular tastings and inspections to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a banquet chef or executive chef in high-end restaurants, hotels, or catering companies.
• Certification: Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution.
• Skillset: Strong culinary skills, creative flair, knowledge of food cost control, menu planning, and kitchen management techniques.
• Certifications: Valid food handler's permit and/or other relevant certifications.
