Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Chef De Partie/Catering event chef at Feast Your Eyes Catering in Philadelphia, PA. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, as well as overseeing a specific section of both the kitchen and on events. This role requires punctuality, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced commissary kitchen. When scheduled as an event chef, the individual is expected to be able to setup, and execute dining service out of a pop up kitchen utilizing prepared foods from the commissary. Events range from 1 event per week to 3 or 4 a week depending on the catering season.

Qualifications
- Proficient in basic culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Knowledge of different cuisines and cooking techniques
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow recipes and culinary directions accurately
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or culinary setting
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
- Food safety and sanitation knowledge
- Valid license and reliable transportation is preferred
