Position Summary

This individual is responsible for providing clinical services to individuals and their families as allowed under the scope of practice of their registration. Under the direction of the BHS Director, this person will monitor and provide treatment plans, assessments, evaluations and diagnosis of patients.

Essential Functions

  • Provide intake evaluations including case management, needs assessment, mental status evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment of agency's patients. Maintains appropriate documentation of services in client electronic record utilizing an electronic health record (EHR) format.
  • Under the direction of the BHS Director, participate in clinical supervision for BHS services and make recommendations to the BHS Director as it relates to clinical care.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities for the programs service delivery, including clinical care and documentation.
  • Responsible for continuity of care in the provision of comprehensive services and coordinates communication with other service components of the agency and outside agencies involved with agency clients.
  • Adheres to the agency's policies and procedures for the department.
  • Adheres to the agency's code of ethics and complies with the State Mental Health Code.
  • Complies with agency standard for service delivery.
  • At the time of hire, each employee will meet with their supervisor to set measurable goals and objectives that are a requirement for the position. These measurables will be monitored by the supervisor and reviewed during the introductory period. They will also be utilized in the annual performance evaluation. The measurables may change from year to year. The supervisor is responsible for notifying the employee of any new measurables at the time of the performance review.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serves on agency committees, working groups and other bodies as assigned.
  • Preparation of monthly reports outlining the activities of BHS Clinical Services.
  • Work with organizations in development and provision of mental health education for staff and patients.
  • Participate in continuing education in order to provide the highest quality of care to the patient population
  • Under the direction of the BHS Director, participates in chart reviews and completing required reports, of all assigned clinical interns.
  • Utilize electronic health records functions of the agency.
  • Assist with a variety of duties in order to meet the needs of the department on an as needed basis.
  • Attend staff trainings and meetings as required.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all patient records.
  • Ability to always maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Ability to arrive at work promptly and maintain regular attendance.

Education And Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited University with a master's degree in clinical social work.
  • Current and active registration as an Associate Social Worker or Marriage & Family Therapist Intern.
  • At least one (1) year experience as an ASW or MFTI.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This position is physically and emotionally challenging. There is a high degree of stress. The ability to deal with time constraints and emotional stress and exposure to body fluids and viruses are also essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to odors and airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Feather River Tribal Health, Inc. is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Compensation Package

$35.00- $36.41 Per hour

All insurance available the following month of employment

Medical is 100% covered by employer, including Self, Self Plue One, and Self Plus Family

Dental and Vision is 100% covered by employer including Self, and additional coverage for Self Plus One, and Self Plus Family is available at additional cost.

401K available day of hire, and 3.5% employer match.

Employer provides $20,000 life insurance policy for full-time employees and additional coverage is available for purchase.

Up to 120 hours vacation that begins to accrue on day one.

Loan repayment assistance available.
