Job Summary:
Controller you will be responsible for driving operational KPI's while keeping an eye on corporate performance and profitability in a manufacturing environment. Assess the effects of accounting standards on a business' activities, and disseminate this information to relevant senior management

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
•Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets.
•Ensure the timely and accurate periodic financial closes and the preparation of operating and financial reports for management.
•Analyze and interpret financial information and related data used to plan, guide and evaluate operating results as compared to plans, budgets and historical or projected trends on a timely and accurate basis.
•Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax compliance.
•Assist with annual budgets and cash forecasting.
•Provide leadership to a team of accounting professionals.
•Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data, and enhance the company's value.
•Actively participate in monthly business review with Director of Finance and team
•Responsible for the timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close
•Successfully manages the annual audit process.
•Provides management with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress in its various programs.
•Builds and drives implementation of an internal control framework.
•Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls
•Play a key role in the physical inventory process.
•Responsible for monthly consolidation and leads monthly review of financial statements
•Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
•Ensure the hiring and development of qualified staff to support the financial control function and maintain a system of job rotation, continuing education, and promotion of staff to ensure that the financial control function is consistently staffed with a competent, well-trained, and pro-active team.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
•10 years of experience in accounting and finance sector, preferably multi-site manufacturing
•In-depth knowledge of all aspects of accounting/financial analysis evolving technologies, and best practices
•Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
•Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
•Above average skills in Microsoft Excel, including lookups, pivot tables & if statements
•Demonstrated skills in independent decision making
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Ability to effectively interact across all levels within the organization
•Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
•Ability to facilitate, build teams and work with groups
•Continuous improvement mindset and strong desire to make a difference
•Perform other duties as assigned
