What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Site Reliability Engineer position at Featurespace?
The Opportunity
As our Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by operating Featurespace’s world leading product, ARIC Risk Hub, as a robust cloud-based SaaS solution. In addition to this, you will work on continuously improving our SaaS offering’s features and robustness.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining our SaaS solution, covering cloud, networking, security, containerization, and disaster recovery. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and customers to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and support.
Our office is based in Atlanta , so ideally you will be within a commutable distance and happy to come in 2-3 times a week. Day to Day
- Deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and upgrading production deployments of ARIC Risk Hub SaaS
- Developing and implementing automation tools and frameworks to streamline operational processes and reducing manual intervention
- Building software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
- Continually evaluating and improving our technology and processes to increase quality, decrease costs and improve time-to-market
- Periodically testing the service with predictable and unpredictable failures
- Providing 2nd-line operational support for our SaaS customers
- Gathering data and generating reports on the service performance
- Developing and documenting internal processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement reliability and performance requirements
- Leading areas of responsibility within the team
- Mentoring team members
