Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious / spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors - if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience must be directly related to the position being filled and is experience gained after issuance of bar membership.
This position has a positive education requirement, transcripts must be provided showing degree conferred. Official transcripts must be provided prior to appointment.
Specialized Experience : To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 14 grade level or above in the Federal service. For this position, specialized experience is experience in the practice of law in the area of labor relations, employee relations, personnel and employment law, including providing advice and counsel to senior management officials on cases in the labor-management, equal employment opportunity (EEO) and employee relations areas and defending management decisions in administrative litigation.

Selectee(s) for this position will be required to report to their duty station office two days per week.
Salary reflects a pay cap for this position of $252,500.
