Job Summary
The position leads and services customer accounts, establishes and cultivates strong business relationships with customers, and represents the customer to the internal Federal Package team. The role entails working with internal and external customers, to support our daily activities and learn our organization for future growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities for order fulfillment and logistics with various internal departments and customers; communicate all details on orders, changes, and exceptions
- Ensure order entry and customer communications are performed with utmost accuracy and attention to detail; verify customer billing information, and match customer purchase authorizations or purchase orders to ensure accuracy for invoicing
- Follow the order/delivery process throughout to verify accurate completion of all related tasks and complete customer satisfaction
- Communicate changes in scheduling to appropriate parties both internally and externally
- Manage customer expectations for lead time and order management, using internal metrics on order/schedule updates and production performance metrics
- Assist in resolving problems related to customers’ sales and service
- Support New Business and Project Management efforts
- Support reporting against potential new business customers based on key targeted criteria
- Provide new business team support in developing proposals and presentations
- Help to manage sample product process to ensure sales cage always has product available
- Assist in providing reports on sales and order activity as well as data management
- Work closely with cross functional teams – Purchasing, Scheduling, Quality, Production and Shipping
- Acquire working knowledge of company’s container, formulation, design, filling and packaging solutions
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 1-3 years of experience in Sales/Customer Service environment

- Must be a reliable self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Adept at multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and meet routine deadlines
- Dependability, flexibility and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Software program proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Be proficient in data entry with minimal errors, and detail-oriented
- Can work under high time pressure, and keep high work quality under minimum supervision
- Well-organized, initiative, strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Sales order entry experience, ERP experience
