Res/Commercial Sales
This position represents Federal Protection within an assigned territory with the goal of maximizing sales and positioning Federal Protection as the leader in the industry. The TC must assume responsibility for achieving sales goals by implementing marketing and sales strategies aimed at effectively selling and promoting the Federal Protection portfolio of products and services within the residential and commercial markets. This position also determines and recommends the most appropriate Federal Protection product through a consultative approach, providing guidance and input to the customer by possessing a thorough understanding as an industry expert.
The TC reports to the President of Federal Protection, is responsible for managing a specific sales territory and interacts regularly with territory service and installation technicians, as well as with corporate support staff. The TC sells and promotes the Federal Protection portfolio of products and services to the targeted market, with a focus on cultivating new business relationships , and maintaining existing customer relationships as well.
Requirements
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS At least one year industry sales experience OR at least three years business-to-business (B2B) sales required. Bachelors Degree from college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the US Department of Education preferred but not required. Top 20% sales ranking for 1 out of last 2 years in a sales role, documented (regionally or nationally) or equivalent documentation for B2B candidates. Proven leadership and decision-making ability. Aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical product information. Must have a consistent proven track record of winning sales results Must be a self-starter and be able to evaluate options and make decisions with minimal supervision. Intermediate computer skills required (Windows, Word, Excel) Prior computer experience using sales data/call reporting software ideal. Must maintain a valid drivers license and obey all applicable traffic laws. Overnight travel will be required to attend meetings, training and industry events.
