We are seeking a Director of Sales with the right combination of skills, motivators and ability to define and execute the sales process. This individual will oversee all the plant business development representatives to drive overall growth for the plants.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with clients.
- Develop and manage sales strategies with an emphasis to profitability studies
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
- Hire/manage additional program managers as needed due to the growth of this business segment
- Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
- Establish a sales training program to train new employees.
- Meet with sales team to assess company performance.
- Responsible for working across business unit/support lines and developing and strengthening position business ties to Federal plants, traditional brokerage, customers service and accounting.

- A proven track record: developing, managing, and teaching a high-results sales process.
- Can effectively communicate – to sales staff – what is expected and needed to execute the sales plan. Experience training and coaching sales staff to improve their results.
- Ability to implement the existing marketing plan and the President/Owner’s vision.
- Able to bring your expertise and techniques with you while adapting to our company’s unique culture, markets, people, and business processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with President to leverage the network, markets and prospects he has already developed.
- Demonstrable expertise in formal sales techniques: prospecting, cold calling, overcoming objections, up-selling and cross-selling, and closing.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BA in business administration or relevant field
- Proven sales management experience: taking company form its current sales to the next sales level
- Capacity to manage various projects and work with deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
