Key Responsibilities
Surface Preparation
- Examine surfaces to identify cracks, dents, or other imperfections.
- Sand and smooth vehicle surfaces to remove imperfections.
- Clean and degrease vehicle exteriors to remove contaminants that may affect the painting process.
- Mask or tape off areas that do not require paint.
- Operate tools such as pressure washer and spray guns.
- Properly handle chemicals such as cleaning solvents and degreasers.
- Ensure that all surfaces are thoroughly prepared for the painting process.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure a smooth and uniform paint application.
- Work closely with paint technicians, and quality inspectors to meet project deadlines.

- Previous experience in automotive bodywork or manufacturing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to use various hand held and cleaning tools.
- Understanding of metal surface prep techniques.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing setting.
