What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Support Representative position at Federal Signal?
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accurate quotation of TowHaul OEM parts
- Responsible for processing and tracking of customer orders for TowHaul OEM parts
- Work with engineering, systems, purchasing, and production teams to provide estimated lead times for delivery
- Customer communication and follow up throughout the quotation and order process
- Report problem areas to applicable internal team (service, engineering, sales, executive)
- Responsible for developing strong client relationships
- Position will require proactive calling on customers to consistently meet sales goals
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office, CRM
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly at all levels of the organization
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to follow specific instruction, manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Must be able to work effectively with both internal and external customers
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport
Qualifications Desired
- Ability to read, understand, and decipher parts manuals and technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience utilizing Epicor ERP software, or a similar ERP software
- Experience using SolidWorks a plus
- Foreign language skills a plus
