Description
Federated Co-ops Inc. is hiring for a Custom Applicator Manager to work out of our Osceola WI location! This is a hands-on position that will assist in directing, and coordinating custom application, equipment and building maintenance operations according to safety regulations and laws while maintaining efficiency, and outstanding customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Custom Applicator Manager include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervises custom applicator team and commercial drivers
- Ensure staff properly use and maintain equipment and building maintenance
- Accurately maintain field mapping database
- Assist with hiring process
- Set up and calibrate equipment to be used in the field
- Follows and oversees employees comply with all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork
- Must be able to work extended hours when necessary
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain
- Valid D.O.T. Medical Card or ability to obtain
- Valid Commercial Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements or ability to obtain
- Must have working knowledge of all agronomy equipment with the ability to perform routine maintenance
- Must comprehend basic measurements and calculations for calibration (gallons per acre, and acres per tank)
