Join our team as an IT Platform Engineer - Kubernetes/OpenShift, where you’ll play a vital role in managing and optimizing container ecosystems, ensuring performance, fault tolerance, and scalability. If you’re ready to take your expertise in Kubernetes and automation to the next level, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, implement, and configure OpenShift 4 clusters for enterprise use.
- Manage container ecosystems, including installations, upgrades, patching, and monitoring.
- Ensure fault tolerance and redundancy are in place for effective business recovery.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and capacity.
- Support IT teams in deploying container-based applications with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, ADO).
- Monitor, patch, and configure the Nutanix Platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
- At l east 1 ye ar managing OpenShift or other Kubernetes-based environments.
- Linux expertise and familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, YAML, JSON).
- Preferred knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Podman, etc.).
- Automation experience with tools like Ansible or ArgoCD is a plus.
- WebSphere experience is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and be a strong team player.
- Basic understanding of network protocols and security best practices is preferred.
