Job Summary
FCSN is seeking a skilled and motivated Training Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis (through August 31, 2025 due to funding cycle). The Training Coordinator will be critical in supporting educators as they transition to the new Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. This position will coordinate and provide training sessions for educators, develop user-friendly quick guides, and ensure alignment with family engagement best practices. The position is full-time and requires travel around Massachusetts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Organize and deliver comprehensive online and in person training sessions for educators on the new IEP process and other topics.
- Co-create quick guides and resources to support understanding and implementation of the new IEP process.
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure materials and training align with grant goals.
- Maintain consistent communication with team members to ensure smooth delivery of objectives.
- Manage training schedules and logistics to maximize educator participation.
- Document and report on training outcomes and feedback for grant reporting purposes.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in education preferred.
- Experience as a special educator preferred.
- Familiarity with the new IEP process and family engagement best practices.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel throughout the state to provide trainings approximately 5 times.
Note: This position is located at the Schrafft’s Center in Charlestown, MA. At least two workdays in the office is required and employees may request other days to work from home.
