Job Summary
Provides analysis and support, training development, and practical applications of methods, techniques, and various engineering models. Provides implementation support for deployment of new functions, processes and systems as needed. Participates on new product development teams, Quality Action Teams (QAT), and special project teams as assigned. Specific responsibilities include Budget Preparation, Cost and Performance Analysis, Cost Justifications and Expenditure Proposals, Report Preparation, Training & Publications, P&D Support, Dock Support, and other analytical duties as needed.
Essential Functions
- Provides cost justification, performance, and other analysis
- Prepares reports
- Provides analysis and assists expenditure proposals.
- Documents field processes and updates appropriate corporate publications as required
- Provides support for operations, including first-and-last mile and dock.
- Participates on project teams
- Other duties including Terminal Capacity, Holiday Cutback Analysis, Special product development and analysis, and other administrative duties.
NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
•Bachelor’s Degree in business, logistics or related are required. In addition to minimum experience and high school diploma or GED an additional four (4) years’ relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree..

Required Skills, Abilities and / or Licensure
- In-depth knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, cost justification techniques, and review and analysis of work methods.
- Through understanding of first-and-last-mile and dock operations.
- Strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills.
- Working knowledge of programming and system.
- Basic knowledge of Video Direction and Development.

This is a corporate position that is domiciled in Pittsburgh, PA. Remote locations will be considered with appropriate approvals.
This position heavily works and collaborates with engineering behind calculating the cost to pickup and deliver packages in a contracted service area. This position is predominately analytical, field facing, and directly works with district staffs to support all First and Last Mile requests, as well as supports strategic FedEx initiatives that impact pickup and delivery costs.

Pay Range: $50,232 - $106,496
Job level and salary determination commensurate with candidate experience.
