**Job Summary:**
FedEx Freight is seeking a skilled City Freight Transporter to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials between service centers and customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify and complete required documentation, including freight handling records and delivery confirmations.
Requirements:
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with double/triple and hazardous materials endorsements.
- At least one year of experience within the last three years or completion of the FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
- An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards.
