Facilities Energy Optimizer
FEDITC - Federal IT Consulting is seeking a skilled Facilities Energy Optimizer to join our team. This role will be based at West Point Academy, NY, and will play a key part in supporting our military client.
About the Role
The Facilities Energy Optimizer will be responsible for optimizing energy usage across various facilities and promoting energy efficiency measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement energy efficiency measures to reduce energy consumption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote energy efficiency practices.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- A four-year engineering degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or a registered Professional Engineer registration with a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management.
- An Environmental Science, business, or related degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in energy management.
- A two-year technical degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in energy management.
- No college degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in energy management.
Certifications
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
