Oracle Database Administrator

FedTec is seeking for Oracle Database Administrator who can Provide database administration for storage, data design and modeling, monitoring, performance tuning, and PI/SQL programming, daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.

Position: Oracle Database Administrator-On Site

Location: 4052 Bald Cypress Way Tallahassee, Florida 32399

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide database administration for storage, data design and modeling, monitoring, performance tuning, and PI/SQL programming, daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.

· Troubleshoot and document resolutions to correct system errors, daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.

· Create and test database code, daily, to perform system functions as defined in system enhancement tickets, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.

· Provide reports, analytical research, and communications to management, daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.

Basic Qualifications – Required Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience

· Nine years of experience with Oracle products inclusive of Oracle Database Server, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Grid Control, Oracle Advanced Security, Oracle Standby databases and Oracle Recovery Manager.

· Nine years of experience as an Oracle database administrator inclusive of data design/modeling, monitoring and performance tuning.

· Nine years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL programming.

· Nine years of experience with the organization and methods of data storage and controlled access to data.

· Nine years of experience with Oracle relational databases, On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Decision Support System (DSS).

· Nine years of experience managing internal, and vendor supplied source code promoted through the SDLC.

· Nine years of experience with development and maintenance of UNIX shell scripts.

· Nine years of experience with MS SQL products inclusive of MS SQL.

· Nine Years of experience with T-SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, scheduled jobs and linked servers.

· Nine years of experience as an MS SQL administrator inclusive of data design/modeling, monitoring and performance tuning.

· Nine years of experience with SQL relational databases, OLTP, and DSS.

· Nine years of experience in Web application server system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning.

· Nine years of experience with Versa Regulation and Versa Online.

· Five years of experience in Enterprise Platform-related change management best practices, including in a code management and promotion in partnership with development team.

· Three years of experience in container and orchestration technologies administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

· Three years of experience in CD/CI delivery pipeline.

· Three years of experience with process automation using Python version 2 or greater.

· Three years of experience with process automation using PowerShell 5.1 or greater.

· Three years of experience with version control management tools (GIT).

· Three years of agile development specifically in using the SCRUM framework.

· Three years of experience in Service Incident Reporting using multiple concurrent systems.
