Located in Tallahassee, Florida, the Florida Association of Court Clerks & Comptrollers is a statewide, non-profit member association. The association is comprised of the Florida Clerks of the Circuit Court and Comptrollers. FACC Services Group, LLC, dba CiviTek Solutions was established in 1991 to provide financial and technical services for the Clerks of Circuit Court and Comptrollers of the State of Florida. A Brief Overview
Responsible for development, maintenance, and performance evaluation of Databases, and Database engines required for support of all FCCC applications. Provide support for application development as well as providing Tier III technical support to the FCCC Service Center and county IT staff.
What you will do
- Develop database requirements by reviewing business requirements; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems.
- Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
- Install revised or new systems by proposing specifications and flowcharts; recommending optimum access techniques; coordinating installation requirements.
- Manages database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products. Manage production, QA, and development database environments.
- Support software developers with database operations including the development of complex SQL, tuning of DML and the creation of stored procedures.
- Design and implement high availability database infrastructures utilizing failover clustering, SAN replication, and other high availability technologies.
- Prepares users by conducting training; providing information; resolving problems. Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Supports database functions by designing and coding utilities.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Design and manage ETL process for data conversions and data exchange between systems.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and regulations and instructions. Respond promptly when returning telephone calls and replying to correspondence and E-mail. Provide high quality customer service to all internal and external customers and assist developers with writing effective queries and performance tuning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Information Systems Required and
- 7-9 years Related Experience Required
- Possess background/training in relational database administration, and implementation using SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows Systems administration.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Requires advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Knowledge of ETL processes.
- Knowledge of Linux shell scripting and'or Windows PowerShell a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps (TFS) a plus.
- Experience with Database monitoring tools and backup software
- Experience with managing SQL Server Always on Availability Groups in a production environment a plus.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git, Azure DevOps, or TFS for managing SQL scripts and deployment automation a plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles in the context of database development and release management.
- Microsoft Certified:Azure Database Administrator Associate Preferred
