Overview
FedWriters is building a team to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) J62 Program Executive Office in developing acquisition strategies and providing technical support services for combat support IT solutions. As a Task Order Project Manager, you will lead our team in providing comprehensive project management and coordination across all task areas while serving as the primary liaison between FedWriters, DLA leadership, and key stakeholders.

Work Schedule and Location:
Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, with periodic visits onsite at Ft. Belvoir.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between our company, the DLA Contracting Officer, COR, and customer representatives
- Provide planning, direction, coordination, and control for effective accomplishment of all requirements in the task order
- Verify and validate level of effort and deliverables for each task
- Prepare the Task Order Management Plan and maintain quarterly updates
- Monitor quality assurance, progress/status reporting, and program reviews
- Provide technical and functional activities for Program Management
- Submit monthly status reports identifying project difficulties and work performed
- Coordinate monthly invoicing and travel reporting
- Develop and maintain project and staffing plans
- Ensure compliance with DoD 8570.01 and DoDM 8140.03 Directives
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or four additional years of related experience)
- Ten (10) or more years of relevant PM experience
- Five (5) years project management experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in IT and/or consulting fields
- Five (5) years leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility, including experience working with DLA's J6 operations
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent nationally recognized certification)
- Current IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes and documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DLA business systems and enterprise applications
- Knowledge of Defense Business Systems acquisition processes
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, MS Project, and other program management tools
- Experience managing teams in a remote/virtual environment
