POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Workforce Programs is responsible for managing the daily operations and supervising students enrolled in Feeding Tampa Bay’s workforce training programs. The Manager will also be responsible for managing relationships with training providers, community partners, and government agencies to create a successful training experience for neighbors with barriers to employment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily operations of workforce training programs.
- Collaborate with the Student Services Manager and leadership to develop and maintain a pipeline of eligible students in alignment with industry standards and employer needs.
- Coordinate with the Student Services Manager, program instructors, and leadership to ensure training activities are implemented as smoothly as possible.
- Collaborate with leadership to explore new training program opportunities in alignment with the company strategic plan.
- Create and distribute training schedules in coordination with program instructors.
- Cultivate internal and external partnerships with training providers, community partners, and government agencies for successful program implementation.
- Maintain documentation of student progress during enrollment in compliance with Feeding Tampa Bay and other governing agencies.
- Collect, organize, and analyze program data for annual reporting and to inform programmatic decision-making.
- Plan and manage workforce program events including job fairs, open houses, and graduation ceremonies.
- Supervise students and encourage compliance with company policies and active participation in training activities.
- Deliver training and instruction for Distribution and Operations program in collaboration with internal and external training providers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing workforce development or training programs, preferably with a focus on working with individuals with barriers to employment.
- Experience in training design and delivery, preferably in warehouse and logistics or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and program participants.
- Experience supervising or managing teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data to inform program decisions.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and learning management systems.
- Certified forklift operator and forklift trainer or willingness to be certified as a trainer.
