Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Bouncer to ensure the safety and security of our venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills and a proactive approach to loss prevention. As a Bouncer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for our guests while upholding the venue's policies and regulations.
Duties
- Monitor the entrance and exit of guests to ensure compliance with age restrictions and venue policies.
- Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations before they escalate into violence or disturbances.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV systems to identify potential issues or security threats.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing assistance during incidents or emergencies.
- Perform routine checks for any suspicious activity within the premises, ensuring a secure environment for all patrons.
- Administer first aid as needed and maintain up-to-date knowledge of CPR and emergency response protocols.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with guests, providing assistance when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies is highly valued.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; candidates should be willing to obtain these certifications if not already held.
- Experience with surveillance systems and CCTV operation is an asset.
