Pay Rate: $20.75 $1.00 perfect attendance bonus
I. SUMMARY:
The team leader assists the production supervisor in coordinating and monitoring the production floor and serves as the backup when the supervisor is out.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for performing as the production supervisor, in the absence of the supervisor.
o TCIR/IFR below target; Zero recordable accidents and submission of all accident reports in less than 24 hours
o Annual Department Turnover rate of less than 10%
o Meet or exceed SFE goal for Focus Factory
o 3% annual cost reductions
o Incoming Quality < 5 ppm
• Capable of filling in on the production floor if needed.
• Ensure production line start up/shut down is done.
• Ensure employees are following standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment ensuring that all safety instructions are followed.
• Continuously monitor product quality.
• Identify nonconforming material and properly dispose of the material.
• Ensure employees are trained to perform various job tasks.
• Capable of doing end of shift paperwork.
• Trouble shoots production issues that arise and works to correct them.
• Additional duties as needed and assigned.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Capable of being forklift certified.
V. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing maintenance. The individual will be responsible for leading maintenance systems, overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long term strategic plans. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.
Minimum Requirement:
• High School Diploma/GED
Preferred:
• Associates Degree
• 1 year manufacturing experience.
VI. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets basic instructions and required documents. Can respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions/general production information written and communicated in English.
VII. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.
VIII. REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

X. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal amount of sitting and standing, above average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer.
• Works with supervisor and management personnel from all departments.
• Will have interaction with quality, process and maintenance personnel.
• Works as a team with fellow employees on the production floor.
