Job Description :

We’re looking for a Content Specialist who lives for crafting compelling narratives to join our Marketing team.

Feit Electric is expanding its portfolio with the addition of two exciting new brands, and we’re seeking a passionate writer who will take on ownership of content across multiple touchpoints. Reporting directly to the Creative Manager, you'll be responsible for fusing creativity and strategy to elevate our digital and in-store presence.

In this role you would…

Contribute to building out new, memorable identities for an industry giant.
Work on written creative for brands that are part of the Feit Electric family of brands.
Collaborate with a small but mighty in-house team, including the Marketing and Brand teams.
Bring your creative energy to all you do by finding opportunities in each outcome to show off emotive and storytelling aspects of our identity.

The successful applicant for this role will :

Write and Edit Copy. You’ll create compelling product descriptions, packaging, website copy, blog posts, emails, social media updates, and more.

Assist with Multimedia Projects. Help create social media content, tutorials, and promotional content.

Collaborate Across Teams . Work closely with designers, marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to ensure content is accurate and consistent with brand voice and objectives.

Content Planning . Assist in planning and maintaining content calendars to ensure timely and effective publication across various platforms.

Manage Content . Utilize content management systems (e.g., Salsify, Shopify) to upload and manage content across digital and e-commerce platforms.

Support Workflow. Keep track of project milestones and deadlines, ensuring that content projects progress smoothly and efficiently.

Stay Current . Keep up with trends in digital marketing, technology, and content strategy to continually enhance our content approach.

REQUIREMENTS :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

The right applicant for this role will have at least 3 years of professional writing experience, whether freelance, in-house, or at an agency. They will need exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail. Applicants will need to supply a portfolio of diverse writing samples that demonstrate versatility, creativity, and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and brands. Marketing experience is preferred. Experience writing for e-commerce is a plus.

Must have strong experience across Adobe CS.

A strong portfolio that shows off your brand-building capabilities.

Product launch or marketing campaign creative experience is preferred—this role will help guide the visual style of these outcomes heavily.

A high comfort level with motion graphic outcomes will be highly regarded.

Experience in Figma is a bonus as we look to build out this capability.

Broader Skills :

Proficiency with digital tools such as CMS (Salsify, Shopify) and project management software (Asana) or an ability to quickly adopt new technologies and digital tools.

Strong organizational skills – managing multiple projects and keeping content workflows on track.

A positive, proactive attitude with a strong ability to collaborate, communicate clearly, and take initiative.

Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively while maintaining high-quality output.

Comfortable with independent work and taking initiative in dynamic environments.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable communicating ideas effectively with leadership and other stakeholders.

Work Location : In-person

Hourly Rate : Offer will be based on applicant’s experience level and seniority, but the role has a range of $33-$37.
