Summary : Feldkamp Mechanical is looking for a skilled Project Coordinator who will oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning to implementation. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with project stakeholders, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction project management will be essential to the success of our projects Pay : $17 - $21 per hour Duties : Regularly communicate with the Project Managers to coordinate workflow, schedules and status updates Act as a primary point of contact for customers and sub-contractors & Field Employees. Prepare and execute all Subcontract Agreements, Purchase Orders, Change Orders. Review and upload all relevant mail / email related to assigned jobs Assist Project Managers with preparation of Invitations to Bid through Plans & Specs, distribute and track all project bidding documentation such as bid forms, addendums, and subcontractor proposals Support the project start-up and close-out processes on each job Coordinate job drawing orders for Project team Maintain all job folders within designated file structures Responsible for contacting subcontractors for documentation follow-up and track all project documentation on tracking spreadsheet Provide office support to field supervision Coordinates supplies needed for job sites such as hard hats, safety glasses, and job site signage, HVAC & Piping Materials. Other duties as assigned Qualifications : Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Proven experience working on construction projects Experience in project management software Ability to plan and see the “big picture” Excellent organizational and time-management skills Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities Excellent problem-solving ability Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONS Some job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. When the employee is at a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and / or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The noise in the work environment is often loud. Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours. Certain positions will require flexibility of working hours to meet the demands of the job and the direction of the manager. The work environments are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
