Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Contract Attorney located in Atlanta, GA or Tampa, Florida with the option for some work from home. The Contract Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating, and specializing in Labor and Employment Law. Work at your own pace in a % or eat what you kill arrangement. We will promote as of-counsel. You will be an independent contractor. But, we expect there to be production.
Alternatively, we can discuss equally becoming an associate attorney position, but the same would require work from the office, and further discussions. The term we are looking for is anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. We seek a compensation plan based upon production. If an employee we can provide a draw.
Qualifications
- Law and Legal Advice skills
- Labor and Employment Law expertise
- Research and Negotiation capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- history of taking depositions
- some jury and bench trial experience
