Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate our parts team to achieve accurate parts orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to grow our business and increase profitability
- Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure a robust selection of parts for customers
- Monitor and analyze parts performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and optimize processes
- Continuously develop product and parts knowledge with ongoing coaching.
- Bring your ‘A game’ along with a positive attitude to work with you every single day.
- Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies.
- Monitor and order parts as needed.
- Ensure parts are received in a timely manner and are accurate.
- Maintain records of parts and supplies purchased, received, and used.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing of parts and supplies.
- Train staff on proper inventory control techniques.
- Provide customer service to internal customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Parts Manager in the automotive industry, with a track record of success in leading a team
- Tekion experience is a plus
- Mercedes-Benz experience is a plus
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team and provide excellent customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze inventory data and identify areas for improvement
- A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred.
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends
