The Felician Sisters of North America is hiring a part-time, Accounting Supervisor to work at our administration office in Beaver Falls/North Sewickley Twp, PA (north of Pittsburgh). This is an onsite position with the potential to work hybrid/remote after completing the initial onboarding, orientation, and training. The part-time Accounting Supervisor will average 25-29 hours per week with a schedule that starts late morning until approximately 4:30 pm / 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor ensures the integrity of accounting information by reviewing, verifying, and posting transactions. This position supervises the accounting staff and is responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, and other accounting activities for the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by reviewing, verifying, and posting transactions.
- Review vendor payment activity and file annual 1099s.
- Analyzes financial information and prepares reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, and other financial activities within the organization.
- Ensures the balance sheet is complete and accurate.
- Maintains and balances bank accounts, including the main Province operating account. Verifies, allocates, posts, and reconciles transactions. Resolves discrepancies.
- Supports the external audit process by analyzing and preparing general ledger accounts. Provides information to the auditors as needed.
- Prepares monthly variance reports for health services, facilities, dining, and administrative departments.
- Oversees credit card and debit card programs for Sisters and employees.
- Attends and participates in meetings, committees, seminars, conferences, and in-service training programs as directed.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience required.
