Busser/Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Help set up and break down catering events, ensuring all food service areas are clean and well-stocked.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Support the overall hospitality efforts of the restaurant by assisting with various tasks as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Experience in bussing or kitchen assistance is beneficial.

Pay: From $7.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
