Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring excellent guest relations. Your primary duties will involve managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to ensure efficient service.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a focus on customer service.
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods by helping with food service or guest services as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
