SUMMIT Appliance (www.summitappliance.com), a Division of Felix Storch, Inc.(FSI) is a 50-year-old private business, located in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx. We are a manufacturer and distributor of major appliances, including vaccine, healthcare and life science refrigeration. We are adding staff to handle our recent growth, and the anticipated growth from the largest product expansion in our history.
We seek an outside sales representative to serve as FSI's ambassador of brand quality and extensive range of product. This full-time salaried position will focus on increasing brand and product awareness through in-person customer visits throughout the tri-state area. You will build meaningful partnerships in a fast-paced industry with room for growth!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Increases brand / product awareness and sales growth in the territory at an established rate determined by Regional Sales Manager.
- Communicates with customers to identify and understand their product or service needs; enhancing brand and product awareness; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of products to customers based on their needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Preparation of weekly call reports
- Set up and maintian dealer display
- Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
- Occasional domestic travel for trade show participation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Rate of pay : $65,000- $75,000 annual base salary commensurate with education and experience. Discretionary bonuses and profit sharing.
