Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the build of new propane and refined fuel trucks and oversee chassis switches for older equipment, ensuring all modifications meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Manage and schedule daily shop operations, including team assignments, parts procurement, and inventory management for optimal workflow.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to mechanics, technicians, and other shop personnel during the truck building and modification processes.
  • Work closely with management and engineering teams to identify improvements in the truck-building process, ensuring both quality and efficiency are consistently achieved.
  • Maintain and enforce safety protocols and company policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during equipment builds and repairs, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Train and mentor junior shop staff on new technologies, tools, and techniques, improving overall team performance and knowledge.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for specialized parts and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper specifications.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating an exceptional shopping experience.
